Located on the Big Manistee River &
Borski Bayou, the campground and surrounding National Forest offer some of
Michigan's best fishing, hunting, & camping.
Walleye, pike, and bass fishing
are excellent in the summer. Salmon start their run in the late summer
peaking in the fall. The steelhead run starts in the early fall and
continues through the winter well into spring, producing many daily limits.
Wildlife and bird watching are
favorite year-round activities for many campers here at the campground.
The area offers some of the finest
deer and turkey hunting in the state.
